And how about those New York Yankees after dropping the first game of this ridiculously short

two out of three series? They come back to win two in a row on the shoulders of a pitcher

who maybe lots of people have never heard of Cam Schlittler. Now, this guy is a rookie, and he began the

year in double A ball. So here he is in the middle of the playoffs, a remarkable performance,

allowing no runs over eight innings, 12 strikeouts.

And just to see this kid, you know, he throws a hundred mile an hour fastball.

And so he had the socks swinging at a lot of sort of borderline or bad pitches.

But the mastery he showed in mixing up his pitches and so forth, it was really

incredible to watch. I like high-scoring games, but this was a pitcher, a young guy who,

and the plot twist is, he grew up a Red Sox fan outside of Boston.

And so here he is just dominating the game, one strikeout after another.

This is the first playoff series.

The Yanks have won against the Red Sox since 2003.

And one of the ESPN announcers said,
