Acts chapter 20 is where we are today. We have been in Acts chapter 20 the last couple of weeks,

but we are also going to see part three now from Acts chapter 20. So if you'll take your

three different missionary journeys that Paul took throughout the known world at that time,

mainly through Asia Minor.

So we're talking parts of Europe, parts of the Middle East.

You have to remember that this is in the day when there is no social media.

This is first century, Roman Empire.

There are no newspapers.

There are no satellites.

There's no internet.

So how do you get the

news about Jesus throughout the known world? Well, you go by foot and you tell people, kind of the

good old fashioned way. You know, when my kids started having children of their own, they were like,

Dad, how did you ever communicate that, you know, that we were born, because now today, when you have a child or

you do the gender reveal, it's all through social media. I said, well, we actually just told people.

You know, that's the way it worked. And so that's the way Paul's advancing the gospel. He is

telling people. He's going by foot throughout Asia Minor, advancing the good news of Jesus Christ,

introducing people to Jesus who had never heard about him or put their faith and trust in him.

Near the end of his third missionary journey, Paul is circling back, visiting some of the

cities that he had previously evangelized on his way to Jerusalem,

and he doesn't have time to visit every single city. So he calls for the elders of the church at
