Let's get into where we are when this episode starts. The rioting that we had seen acted out,

much to Herman's dismay, at the end of last episode, is now spread. There's rioting all over the country now, right?

Wherever Walter Winchell goes. Yeah. So Winchell has become not so much the symbol of the resistance or the anti-Linberg forces,

but the target of pro-Linberg rage. They come to him wherever he is, and these riots play out like a series of Kristallnachts, where they take

the provocation of Winchell daring to denounce the president to attack Jewish businesses,

burn them as happened in Germany.
