John 151 and 2, I am the true vine and my father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch

in me that bears no fruit. While every branch that does bear fruit, he prunes, so that

will be even more fruitful. This is the Word of the Lord. Thanks to these. Go ahead and have a seat.

And then would you with me draw to your minds this scene. Jesus and his disciples are invited

to a wedding. Now, it's early days, Jesus has a few followers. He hasn't done a lot of public

healing, but a few of these kind of guys, Ragtag group are following Jesus. They get invited

to a wedding and Jesus' mom is there. If you know the story, the host of the wedding has a very

embarrassing moment. And as a father of the bride, my daughter gets married next month. I'm thinking,

yeah, thank you. She's not here, but I'll tell you what you said that. I'm thinking through the logistics to make sure

this doesn't happen to me, but the host has a situation on his hand. They run out of wine. It's kind of embarrassing.

And Jesus' mom says, oh, my son can take care of that. Jesus, do your thing. And he looks at her and he's like,

it's not my time. I'm not supposed to do this. She doesn't even respond to him. She turns directly to the

weight staff and says, do whatever he says. So you know the story, perhaps these giant sisters that thankfully

were clean about the size of a large industrial trash can, 20 to 30 gallons. Jesus says, fill those with water.

And then I don't know what happens next if he did like a waving of the hand or a wink. Maybe he looked at his mom and

was like, this is what you want it, watch this. And then tells the weight staff to put their ladle,

I don't know what you serve wine, put their cup, they're 32 ounce, I don't know. Like dip into the water and try it.

And they do. And it's incredible wine. Now what an interesting miracle, right? You know the guests,

everyone's in awe that someone even says this famous line, wow, most people start with a good wine and then

after people have had too much of a drink, they bring out the cheap, the two buck chuck or whatever. And but you have started

with the, or excuse me, you're ending with the best wine. This is unheard of. So what's interesting to me about this is

this isn't a healing of someone that was sick. This isn't a deliverance of someone that has a demon. This is so commonplace.
