After watching the vloggers videos and seeing her in the parking lot looking like Inspector Gadget,

I fled back home.

I still stand by that decision today.

What I did once I got home...

That's irrelevant. Let's just say I was in a state. But I did not call or text

Audrey. Looking back, that would have been a mistake. Audrey sure thinks so. The next morning, I woke up to a flood of new text messages.

And when I say flood, I mean a tsunami.

I had charged my phone before going to bed, put it on silent mode, and tried to ignore it

until morning.

I caved only once and looked up a few things through a search engine around 1 a.m. And that only made me feel more restless,

but there were no messages yet at that point. When I picked up my phone again around 5 a.m., it felt hot. Turns out it

was overheating because of all these texts arriving non-stop. They came so fast it was impossible
