For those who are led by the Spirit of God, our children of God, the Spirit you received

does not make you slaves so that you live in fear. Again, rather the Spirit you received

brought about your adoption to sonship, and by him we cry, O'Beth Father. The Spirit

himself testifies with our Spirit that we are God's children. Now if we are God's children,

then we are heirs. Heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ. If indeed we share in his sufferings,

we must also in order, only that we might share also in his glory. This is the Word of the

Lord.

trouble. For several weeks now, we have been in this series. As I begin to think about this title,

I begin to think about the inflection with which we say that sentence and all the different

implications that come with the emphasis that we put on the words within that phrase and how

it radically changes the definition, the meaning, and the way that we process the trouble that we

have. Depending on how we say it, it can be a prophetic warning, something that makes us

fearful. Depending on how we say it, it can be an explanation related to our geography. In this

world, you will have trouble. Depending on how we think about it, it's just a reality. It's a promise.

that rhymes with P, and that stands for pool. Oh, how I wish the trouble that we have was simply
