When my mom passed, it was the interesting,

I saw my mom the day that she that she had passed I went to visit her and you know I had no idea that she was going to pass on that day.

Matter of fact, she was making progress and you know they do say that you know there's like a there's like

a thing where when people right before they're about to die they start you know you start

thinking that things are getting better and with my mom you know she was actually like you know making really like like

like the physical therapist came in and the physical therapist was like I can't

believe how much progress she made yesterday and he was telling me all about it and my mom's talking to me and

and my mom had a roommate that wasn't there at that time but there was this black woman that was sitting in my mom's

room and I had no idea who this woman was, never seen her before. She was there.

You didn't say anything to me. She just was sitting there. He didn't say anything to me.

She just was sitting there holding her phone.

It was the oddest thing.

And my mom died the day of Elijah Cummings's funeral.

Elijah Cummings was the was the was the

congressman from Baltimore that died.

And it was actually a really interesting exchange I had with my mom that day because my mom,

all the stations, CNN, MSNBC, Foxx news they were all televising alaja commons this funeral which was like the weirdest thing because he was a member of Congress from Baltimore like like they didn't they didn't give John Dingell that kind of that kind of coverage and

that guy was like the the most senior member of the of the Democratic delegation

in the house, right?

So my mom looks at me and she says,

I'll never forget it, she says, who died?
