This is a collapsible baton. This is the friction style where it doesn't have the push button. You can get them all kinds of ways. which's why I like it the most.

You can get one of these, you can cut it in half,

the hopkido guys they'll whip it around and comes back into the hand and they can

use it outside as a longer weapon too, almost like the second half of a pair of nunchucks,

and then it snaps back this way and you have a simple self-defense stick.
