You have a foundation to work upon as you make your way through this life.

Without it, you have nothing.

But values, you know, values are things that are important to you, what you believe, what you're not willing to go against. For me, my values have an hierarchy. It's God, family, friends, and community in that order.

Everything else comes after that.

Business, money, finances.

That's all after the first, those first core,

those first four cornerstones, God, family, friends, and community.

So principles, well, principles are things that you learn.

You may value being warm in a winter, but principles are,

if you fail to maintain your source of heat, you could die.

Values you have to establish for yourself.

Without them, you'll blow like a leaf in the wind.

But principles bring wisdom.

And wisdom comes from experience. An experience comes from fucking things up and living to tell about it, or maybe not tell about it, but you just lived,

to learn that lesson.

I guess managing to be around to 65 in pretty good shape and at least decent financial condition.

I guess I've learned a few principles over my life.

And, uh... life.
