But what kind of, you know, what kind of pushback or pressure was coming out of DC to resolve

it after 51 days? it's like a marathon?

There really wasn't that much pressure coming out of D.C. to resolve it.

The situation was that the psychologist, the linguistics experts that analyzed his writings were saying that this thing is

ready to come to a head and that that David Kerech wants it to be all on his own terms and that we're getting to a point where if we don't do anything that we're going to be on display where he's going to start killing people

and we're going to be in the defensive posture rather than the offensive posture.

I don't think politics played into this at all.

I think President Clinton obviously is a master politician. He may not be a very
