Well, fear has a lot to do with it.

You know, whenever somebody's using fear to sell you something, it's probably a bad thing.

We looked up with this stuff today, I said to the young bucks,

give me some Bible verses on fear and overcoming fear, as we're supposed to be tackling on these things

30,000 foot view on Wednesdays of life in general I said the young books put some stuff

together on overcoming fear if you stop and think about it fear often feels like it takes over when we focus on the things right in front of us, the things we can see.

It's different from anxiety, which tends to worry about what's hidden or uncertain.

Fear is what hits you when you're faced with a situation, a challenge, or a decision that feels too big, too overwhelming,

or even too dangerous.

God didn't give us fear to control us.

That's the thing here, folks.

Paul reminds us that God's spirit within us isn't a spirit of fear but one of power, love,

and self-discipline.

That's powerful truth when fear tries to creep in.

What's that?

Second Timothy, one through seven. I found that interesting.

I think we've all been tested in that category of last few years, a number of different things.

We've seen loved ones, perhaps ourselves, ourselves espouses parents we stood literally on the

cliff of uncertainty intimidation uh get your poison or else and uh for a number of us out here

we weren't timid or scared.

Perhaps at times uncertain and definitely unsure to a certain extent, but we weren't scared.

And that's called a spirit of strength what we're talking about.
