Okay, hello and welcome to part three of why I decided to no longer be an influencer on the Powerful Women podcast.

It is, of course, going to be a solo episode with myself, your host, Randa Karaba.

So if you have not already checked out part one and part two, I would encourage you to do that.

Kind of a quick little synopsis.

Number one, I don't think I was really that good at being very popular on Instagram.

I don't follow Instagram rules for popularity for engagement.

To me, they're just vanity metrics.

They don't tell the real story.

There is truly no way to put a metric on trust factor online, on authenticity online,

on the people who follow without engaging that actually

spend money with you, how much people trust you, how much people convert based on what you

post or how often you have to post or how redundant you have to post something before people

trust you. There's just a lot that in the terms of conversions and sales cannot be found

in a quote unquote vanity metric is what I call engagement. So I also in part two told you all

that with one brand I had stepped away from the beginning of this year. I walked away from what

would technically be considered a full-time salary. And there was actually two brands
