Summary

From the series "Future Church." The zeitgeist of our generation is deconstruction. The ideologies of both the Right and the Left are operating as pseudo-religions, and drawing people away from orthodox faith. Each a political religion "with a twist of Christianity." How do we stay faithful to Jesus and not let our heart get swept away? Through the practice of reading Scripture we come to let Jesus' words abide deep in our being, and shape the trajectory of our soul.

1:06.0	We stand under his loving authority over our mind and our body and our whole life and

1:20.4	Two Corinthians chapter 10 verse 1 to 5.
1:26.4	By the humility and gentleness of Christ, I appeal to you.
1:34.5	I, Paul, who am timid when face to face with you but bold towards you went away.
1:41.1	I beg you that when I come I may not have to be as bold as I expect to be.
1:47.0	And some people who think that we live by the standards of this world.
1:54.5	For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does.
2:01.4	The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world.
2:05.7	On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.
