And then Violet and I were in Palm Springs this past weekend,

and she didn't have school Monday,

and we were driving back home,

and we drove through downtown Los Angeles and we encountered something.

It was an experience. It was like a trip through a vortex. And I want to tell you about it

because it crystallized so much about what I've been noticing about all of us and this moment that we're in.

So in this episode, I want to trace the relationship between fatigue and despair, the relationship between despair and power, and then the relationship between power and clarity.

My play will get back to you is going to run at the James Theater in Iowa City, the first weekend of April.

So tickets will be going up soon for the play, but I figured while I'm there, and there's going to be a theater that's available during the day, I'm going to do a workshop.
