See you in January. You're going to. We will be in Luke chapter 2 tonight and before we read we want to take a moment to lean into this period of waiting that Advent represents.

We want to have a minute of silence where we'll just stand together in silence reflecting

on Jesus's first coming, hoping for his second,

and remembering that he who promised is faithful.

So we're going to take a one minute of silence,

unbroken silence, and then I will at the very end

break it with the reading of God's words symbolic of the light of the world

who came in the period of darkness.
