You don't want to give a guy like me any daylight if I'm investigating you and you don't want to give criminals any daylight if they're trying to exploit you.

No daylight, zero, because the littlest detail that you don't think matters at all could be the final

puzzle piece to them sinking you and draining your bank account because if they're smart as well,

they know a whole lot about you before they even reach out to you.

And they're just looking for some final puzzle pieces to put things together to rip you off.

So you don't give anybody any

information, extra information. You don't share bank account details with

people. Just the same as you wouldn't talk to somebody from the FBI if they showed up at your door.

You would say, I'd love to help you. I can't talk to you without an attorney.

Because what an attorney tells the FBI or the police, for that matter,

on your behalf is not admissible in a court of law. What you tell the police is admissible. What you tell the FBI is

and if they feel that you're lying they will charge you with a criminal

offense but an attorney doesn't work that way.

A question I've been asked before and the answer is somewhat surprising.

Somebody tries to break in your house and you defend yourself and you defend your family.

And you have to use deadly force, things get ramped up, and you have to kill somebody to protect your family,

self-defense.

Somebody is laid the fuck out in your house, bleeding out.
