Summary

A mechanical failure spells disaster for the crew, as chillingly foretold by the retrieved data recorder. Sam battles with the failing submarine, Marion discovers a little of Charlie’s outlook on life and Marcus attempts to make contact with Mission Control. But before things can settle down, the Virgil expedition will face a new, more aggressive threat.
