Hello, Mike and Payne.tv listeners, this is Katherine, Cascadian, Queen, Colin from

up in Point Roberts, Washington.

And I am calling in response to some of the, you know, people have been just putting their

heart down lately about how much it hurts for their family to be ripped apart.

And I've, this is something I've had a lot of experience with. I had a really ugly divorce

back about 20 years ago and my ex-husband lied to my business network, my church network,

my kids, I mean just hideous, hideous, horrible lies. And the kind of things I was accused of were

the kind of things that you would not want to be associated with me or friends with me

and very hurtful. And systematically went and told hundreds and hundreds of people these things.

Like I had a business roof-in-ish in cabinets and he went to the whole home and garden show

that I'd been working with for 15 years and went for three days specifically to each booth

and saying, you know, all these things about me and been next day's same thing, next day

the same thing. He told my main referral sources that if they did anything to help my business

or work with me, he would systematically destroy their business, too. And I have, you know,

had three of them that were, you know, wimpy guys and they said, I can't afford to put my business on the line

like that. I'd like to help you because I had a court case and, you know, for custody of my kids

and had to get permission to move because my entire business wife was destroyed

and my church that I'd gone to for so many years wrecked, too. So I had to have a new start.

And, you know, they said, we won't testify because we can't afford the money.

So I've had this, I've had, you know, my kids lied to you as well which some of that has gotten worked out.

So I understand the dynamic here and I've had personal follow-up with the COVID thing, too.

But how do you cope with this when your family gets ripped apart by lies?
