This is Jason and Rachel Ballard, all the way from Vancouver, BC, where the weather's

even worse than here.

So you may or may not recognize Jason.

As Gerald said, we're about to kick off our fall alpha course.

And Jason is a pastor from Vancouver, which is a very similar city, but also is part time

on staff with Alpha Canada and is the brainchild behind the Alpha Youth Series, the film series

for Alpha Youth, which is kind of transformed the Alpha Film Series as a whole.

And so this guy, he would never say this, but this guy's film series that you and a couple

of buddies put together has now over a million people have gone through it.

So it's a pretty cool, over a million teenager aspects.

Pretty special.

Have gone through this eight week film series about Jesus of Nazareth.

So we asked Jason just to come down and to talk to us about Jesus and the why behind Alpha.

And I know that for some of us, at least for me, growing up in the church, there's just

like, I hear the word evangelism, which is not even a word used in the New Testament.

And like, as West Coast people like to say, it's a trigger word for me.

Like I just, which is such nonsense.

But it makes, I just feel weird.
