Ephesians 1 and 1 verses.

Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, to God's holy people and Ephesus,

the faithful in Christ Jesus, grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord

Jesus Christ.

I was 15 years old when I remember wanting to give something up to know God more.

I was at our annual youth camp and our youth pastor, that's a visual for you.

What was that like four years ago?

Anyway, I was at our annual youth camp and our youth pastor talks about how there are

things in our lives on our journey with Jesus that can keep us from having more of God.

And those things he said weren't necessarily bad.

They were just things that sometimes can occupy our time and our affections that would otherwise

be given to God.

And I vividly remember the room that night.

It was really dark.

And my heart, as he was speaking, just began to race, to beat out of my chest.

See, for as long as I remember, I have wanted more of God.

And even though I didn't understand what this would mean, I knew that if there was a pathway

to it, I was going to follow.

And so our youth pastor goes on and that night begins to invite us to ask God what might
