How's the day going? Today we have maybe for the first time on Going West, we have a double

case today. We're going to talk about two cases that are completely unrelated, but they both

really deserve to be told. And we've had them on their list for this month,

but there's just not enough information on either to cover for like a full episode.

So since they both happened around actually on Christmas,

a few years apart, we wanted to just combine them.

These are the stories of Paris Hobson and Zizel Preston,

and they are both so utterly confounding and the second one,

Zazel's case, man, it is disturbing beyond comprehension. Yeah, I remember kind of looking for

some holiday cases, some cases that took place around the holidays and finding Zazel's case

and just realizing how truly horrific that story really is.

So, without further ado, all right, guys, this is episode 565 of going west, so let's get into it. In December of 2019, a young woman stepped out for a walk on Christmas Day after feeling anxious at a family gathering.

But she never returned. Early, after she vanished,

her recent email to an attorney about being blackmailed surfaced,

alongside the suspicion that she had gotten too close

to finding the person responsible for her brother's recent death.
