Good morning and welcome to the Independent Republic of Mike Graham live on

College Green right here in Westminster at the heart of what used to be called democracy.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson is still on a plane, but in 90 minutes' time, Parliament will be

open for business once more, but what exactly are they going to do?

Yesterday, John Burko, the Speaker, could barely contain his pomposity as he declared that

as a result of the Supreme Court decision, he had instructed his minions to resume Parliament,

not recall it, because apparently what happened over the past week never actually happened.

This morning, we will bring you every step, every manoeuvre, every block,

every cough and every whistle as Labour MPs return from conferences, Tory MPs returned from holidays, some people return from foreign affairs and United Nations summits. The

Independent Republic is the only place to be to find out exactly what the plots are, where

the cabals are being formed and whether anything has actually changed since the last time we were down here.
