There's something happening here.

A lot of people were heartbroken yesterday in Florida.

So a jury spared the Florida school shooter shooter

from the death penalty.

This is the Parkland High School shooter from 2018.

They're sending the guy who killed 17 people to prison

for the remainder of his life rather than the death penalty.

It's a decision that left a lot of families

of the victims, angry, baffled in tears

and just outright walking out of the courtroom.

So the question has to be, and so the way Florida law works,

you have to have a unanimous vote on at least one count

in order to get the death penalty.

And it appears that it was like 11 in favor and one holdout.

And so the question has to be, and by the way, apparently,

they call this mitigating factor,

it's not to be like Guy Ralford over here

and be turned into a courtroom attorney,

but perhaps it was untreated childhood issues.

You don't know for sure what exactly the reason was,

but regardless, if you can kill 17 people
