Welcome to Politics by Faith with Mike Slater. Today we're going to talk about the death penalty.

And I'm very excited to talk about this. And I'm also very overwhelmed. But let's do it. And we'll see if we can find some peace at the end of it.

Because that's what we're doing here. If you are new to the podcast, the genesis of this is there's too much anxiety out there.

I feel too much anxiety. My wife feels too much anxiety. All my friends, way too much anxiety.

We're all strung up too tight. But I don't want to give up on it all. It's too important.
