Hello everybody and you're all very welcome to the Tommy Hector and Rita podcast.

I did an eventful week.

I left here on Tuesday, went down to Mayo.

Up to me on Wednesday, whichever.

And on Wednesday morning, at a quarter past date, I woke up with a tick in my leg.

You know what a tick is?

I do. Like Lyme's disease.

Like a small little tick that had embedded itself in the skin.

So I rubbed it off my leg thinking it was just a little fly or something,

realised then that it was inserted inside of me.

And I was panicking. Well, I suppose.

It wouldn't be the first time you had something inserted inside you and you didn't feel it, Rita?

I was going to say that was unwanted.

Let's just listen to the last three words you said, I woke up in the morning and I realized that something inserted inside.

A little small thing inserted inside of my leg, right? I app, I reverted to a full on child. I started, well, I... Where was it on the calf? It was right here. Sucking the blood from... You can see a little mark on my leg there. So it's, I'll show you the pictures after a while, but... How did you know? Did you rub it? Was it a frackle Did you rub it? I was getting dressed and I said, I just was going for a walk and I said, Jesus Christ, what's that? So I rubbed it off thinking it was just a black kind of fly or something. Then I realised, shit. Now, my father was in bed to sleep and I didn't want to wake him up. So I was running around the house,

shouting but not actually making any noise because I didn't want to disturb the whole place, right? I was looking for tweezers to pull the thing out. I tried to use a scissors to pull it out, but I only pulled off the back end of it. And his feet stayed in. His head. His head. Yeah, he's a tick. he's got two feet on the front and two on the back. It was his head anyway.
