Hello and welcome to the show. We are back from having eaten all the cheeses of Paris and drank all the wines and saw all the sights.

And today we are going to bring you the travel log for what we

are fondly calling Paris Three, our third field trip to Paris. I was really wondering if it was going

to be all old hat when we got there. We were staying at the same hotel we did the last time.

We were doing some things

different, but a lot of the things were the same. And I just wondered, am I going to get bored?

And the answer is no, not at all. And again, it was a very different trip than either of the other two

because of the people. That's right. And those people are joining us on this episode with their memories of the trip.

And this time we did something a little bit different.

We encouraged them to call on the spot.

But it'll be quick and it'll sound like they're in a busy bistro or on the street. And then there are the

Susan and I did. I guess we don't really call this day one. This is like day negative one, day

negative two. The chore has not officially begun yet, but we had read Eina Garten's autobiography,

her story of how she became the fabulous food person that she was. And she mentioned in that book

that one of her favorite things to do since it was in her neighborhood was to go to a restaurant

called Le Rikamie and have a Rokfort souffle. So we decided that was going to be our first
