And the other day I was walking with my wife in the 7th, Aaron de Smant, down Rue du Bac,

past the Dei-Rolo shop with the stuffed animals that I've talked about on the show before.

And we come to that big, beautiful Monopri supermarket.

And I just turned to my wife, I said, left or right. And she said,

right. Why? And I said, we're going to the right. And if you follow along behind that big set of

buildings and down the next road, you'll find yourself on Rue de Bonn, B-E-E-A-U-N-E, and it's the kind of road that you can kind of only stumble

upon it, I feel. It's just like the fact we did that left-right thing is the only reason we found

ourselves there. And when you're walking down, it's this collection of curious antique shops.

So I'm looking in the windows as we walk along, no doubt,

because we had the antique experts on the show a couple weeks ago. And my eye was caught by a shop

called Gallerie Jensen. And inside the window was this big display of canes like walking sticks and I found myself really

drawn to these walking sticks I just I kind of had all these questions how does someone get such

a big collection how much do they cost what's going on why are they so ornate why did they

die out what's the real use of them? And I thought,

I could see a woman sitting in there behind the desk. I thought, how do I find out all this stuff?

Well, quite simply, I'll just go in and ask. So I went in and I talked to the lovely Chloe

Jean-S-S-O-N, who works there. Jean-S-O-S-N, by the way, J-A-N-T-Z-E-N.

And we got chatting, and she started to show me these incredible Keynes.
