It is Saturday, May 23rd, and what's the big damn deal?

A parent can ride in first class and stick their kid in coach.

But when you're Jessica Simpson, well, the criticism comes swiftly and it comes pretty intensely.

With that, welcome to this episode of Amy and T.J., what is the big damn deal? Robs? What's the big deal?

I don't think it's a big deal at all because I will be very honest here right now. I have 100% done that before and people

may disagree with it. But it was funny when the news first came out that Jessica Simpson was sitting

in first class and her kids were sitting in coach. My youngest daughter, Annalise said, Mom, you

did that all the time with us. And I said, sure did. Okay. So if we just

start there, before we get into all how it came about, just hearing it on the surface,

does it matter when the parent has, in this case, not even a perceived, but a documented

amount of money in her account. She is listed as a billionaire. Is she not? Yes.

Okay. So does that matter? I respect it even more. Because you know what? She could. Obviously

she can afford to fly her kids in first class. She can probably afford to fly her kids on private.

But look, she has mentioned and has talked a lot about her

humble beginnings. And I think for many of us who grew up very similarly, we want, we can't,

obviously, give our children that hunger or that, that base of knowledge that we had of what it's like to struggle, of what it's like to

not be able to even afford to fly period, let alone fly in first class. And I do think that

she, along with many other celebrities, have talked about trying to not spoil their kids and

not have their kids believe that they just should expect to always fly first class,
