today in abeyance, or at least the tedium of the monotony is in abeyance.

The monotony ain't going anywhere anytime soon.

And when it does finally hit the road, Jack, it may be as a result of the introduction of, I don't think, do you know, oddly.

I know we got a semi-decent gag out of it yesterday by suggesting that if you told everyone they were blue,

then that weird crossover between Brexit ultras and sort of faux-libertarian anti-vaccine passporters

would be easily solved. Just tell them that they're blue. They're blue. The vaccine passports are blue.

Well, in that case, I definitely want one.

Apart from that, I don't think passport is helpful, but it's probably too late. Is it now to change?

Johnson yesterday sort of snuck it out in the middle of his pronouncements. In fact, as the

time says, buried in the middle of his statement on the

roadmap out of lockdown. So Monday, not yesterday. After all, this is the Times leader today.

Ministers had spent the past few weeks insisting that they had no intention of setting up a system

of vaccine passports, regardless of what private companies might do.

Nadine Zaharwe, the vaccines minister, said that such plans would be wrong.

Even Downing Street officials appear to have been blindsided by the Prime Minister's U-turn.

And Marcus Rashford had absolutely nothing to do with it, which is a rare occurrence, isn't it?

I could be wrong, and I know many of you hate it when I

endeavour to offer even the thinnest of olive branches towards this appalling clown car of a government

in the context of the arguably the worst response in the world to the coronavirus pandemic. Nick had

another caller today. So why don't you ring me, lads, to tell me what a bang-up job he's doing as the head of the government that's got arguably the worst response in the world to a pandemic that's affected pretty much every country, including countries considerably poorer than us. Give me a ring and tell me what a bang-up job he's doing. We can pick over the bones of it. We can have a look at the facts. We can focus upon the reality.
