We talked about some parenting tactics here, and there's one generation that I feel seems more entitled to bestow upon us their parenting advice that quite frankly doesn't work any more of the world has changed without them.

For example, if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.

This is a terrible parenting advice, but that baby boomers just need to stop telling us.

Do as I say, not as I do, says in today's world where children have a greater access to information and are encouraged to think critically, this approach is just not as effective.

I mean, you don't say you're saying you don't mean it.

Like if you said an example, then you're not doing it.

I smoke cigarettes, drink whiskey.

I don't care if my kids drink whiskey.

I do now, but when I'm saying when they get older, but as far as smoking, I'm like, don't do it.

When I bat, I'm like, if you do one thing for me, don't do that.

You can be stupid.
