Do you know what they call the state of Texas? Like another name for the state of Texas?

Is it an armpit?

What?

It's it, it's an arm, wait, is that not this state?

Someone said it's like the armpit of the south but maybe that's not this state.

I don't know I've never heard that. I've always known it as the Lone Star State but I never

knew why it was called the Lone Star State so for whatever reason I felt like I needed to look it up and it says that is Texas's nickname. It plays tribute to the Lone Star Flag which was adopted after Texas became independent from Mexico in 1836.
