was a whirlwind. He issued a flurry of executive orders and granted pardons to the January 6 rioters.

Trump's return, of course, marks the end of Joe Biden's presidency. Before leaving office, Biden also issued a series of pardons,

including from members of his family,

members of the January 6th committee,

and Dr. Anthony Fauci.

but there's lots of other stuff that is probably more important to the lives of people in the country. Donald Trump promised and delivered on this promise that he was going to sign.

I forget what the exact metric is, but I think it was a veritable shitload of executive orders.

I think shitload is more than a bushel with great fanfare, right? In the arena, there was a,

there was a desk. Then he signed a bunch of them in the Oval Office, and they were, you know, pre-written. He got to move on. We should explain to people what an executive order is and what it is not. An executive order is something that a president can sign has authority to issue. It does not supplant or override

the Constitution. It does not supplant or override enacted federal law. It operates mostly where
