To that end, we're going to start the show with a look back at one of the documents that

Specifically, we're zooming in on one part of it that's gotten a lot of attention since

Article 2, Section 2, clause 1 says, and he shall have power to grant reprieves and pardons

for offenses against the United States except in cases of impeachment.

In today's English, granting clemency can mean one of two things.
