This week I am reading from Antoinette “Tiyi” Schippers book 'A Liminal Life: A Medium's Memoir'.Book Two of the Gatekeeper Series explores the author's early encounters with angels, allies, and adversaries. She grew up in a house where the veil was remarkably permeable, exposing her and several other family members to multiple spirits. Her formative years were filled with experiences of both the physical and unseen worlds, enabling her to discover how to unlock the wholeness of reality both seen and unseen. This extraordinary, true story tells of many unusual circumstances that propelled her on her path to becoming a gatekeeper; one who holds a key to unlock the nature of the world in its entirety, both corporeal and intangible. BioTiyi has had paranormal experiences since she was very young. She grew up in a very haunted house and learned that we all share our world with spirits and ghosts. Throughout these formative years, she became incredibly sensitive and was regularly able to see, hear and experience these presences. She has turned these gifts into a lifetime of helping others come to terms with their own experiences with the Paranormal and to share her own experiences as well as the experiences of others. She was born in the Chicago area during the mid-20th century as the third child in a family of ten. Raised in a rich culture of storytelling, Tiyi learned at an early age how to captivate an audience with vivid and lusty tales. She has been an early childhood educator for 40 years, is an accomplished songwriter and traditional American music performer and has served as a city council member for nearly a decade in the small northern Michigan town wherein she and her husband have resided for the past thirty-five years.
