Summary
Paranormal Conversations are random, off-the-cuff discussions on all things paranormal. On this third episode, we are joined by our gravedigger and mascot, Mort! He has taken care of our Executive Producers in the EXECUTORIUS ORDINATOR NECROPOLIS for several years now. We asked the listeners for questions and then Mort joined us in the studio to answer them. | 0:00.0 | Welcome to Paranormal Conversations, random of the cough discussions on all things |
| 0:29.2 | paranormal. |
| 0:39.2 | Hey Kelly, how are you? I'm doing great, Diane. How are you? I'm good. We have a special guest here |
| 0:45.2 | for our Paranormal Conversations number three. We sure do. We have Morte the Gravedigger with us. |
| 0:53.0 | He's a little shy, so he didn't really want to show his face. Yeah, he is a shy lad. |
| 0:59.4 | All right, so before we get into our interview with Morte, I wanted to kind of set a little bit of |
| 1:05.3 | groundwork here and explain a little bit why we have Morte as a part of the show. So what happened |
| 1:12.1 | is when I first started History Ghostbump, I wasn't even planning on doing anything when it came to |
| 1:18.0 | money, trying to finance it or anything like that. I was just paying for everything myself, |
| 1:21.3 | and then as you get further along in here, you start realizing, well, this costs money to buy |
| 1:25.7 | upgraded equipment and programs and all that good stuff. So I wanted to find a way to finance it |
| 1:32.8 | and about the same time that I wanted to do that, which was about six months in Patreon had started |
| 1:38.0 | its program. I guess you could call it, and it was all in beta and everything, but I'm like, |
| 1:42.1 | you know what, I'm going to go ahead and give this a try, and I really feel good about having this |
| 1:47.1 | be a completely listener-supported podcast. So I put everything up on Patreon. I picked out |
| 1:52.8 | different tiers, and then it sat there for about six months. But we finally got our first person, |
| 1:57.8 | and it was somebody at the $10 level. So I was like, well, people really are willing to get in and |
| 2:02.7 | support this show. So did that for almost a year and a half, maybe two years, and I thought, you |
| 2:08.9 | know, our Patreon is really boring. I wanted to spice it up a little bit and do something more with |
| 2:14.6 | just tier one, tier two, tier three. So I came up with this idea of, hey, what if we had a cemetery |
| 2:21.2 | where everybody could be buried, and we had different burials within there at the different tier levels. |
| 2:27.2 | And of course, those have changed over the years, but that's what we came up with. And I'm going to |
