Welcome to Paranormal Conversations, number two. On this episode, we are joined by

listener, a guest who has been with us on History Ghostbump. She's a writer, a tour guide.

And that is Kathleen Mecca. We had a lot of fun with this one. Just want to give you guys a heads up.

enjoy the interview. The career of our guest is measured in decades that have been spent

researching history and genealogy. Her ventures have carried her through historic locations and

cemeteries and given her a lifelong love of tales from the past and her passion for that is

infectious. And also an appreciation for the life stories of others whether related to her or not.

She shares those tales through her writing, speaking and tour guiding. She's written several books,

Galveston's Broadway cemeteries, Ghosts of Galveston, and a history of the hotel Galvez,

and is a member of the Texas Chapter of the Association for Gravestone Studies.

And her work with historic cemeteries earned the National Society Daughters of the American

Revolution Historic Preservation Award in 2019. One might think all this history and research

would make one boring, but she's a ton of fun. She's also been a guest on History Ghostbump,

sharing her knowledge about hotel Galvez with all of us. Please welcome author historian and
