Welcome to the Best Day Movie Related Show on the Planet Earth, the John Campi show. Coming from you right here in our quaint little studio. I'm, of course, your host, John Campia. I'm joined by our technical producer, Jonathan Voico. Good morning. Writer, director, producer, Robert Meyer Burnett. Well, it's good to be here. I'm surprised you're still awake. And yeah, I'm here after being at what a lot of people are calling the greatest world

series game of all time. Me and Jonathan and our significant others, we went to go Dodger Stadium last

night. It was not expected to go 18 innings. He was not expecting two full games.

18 innings, back and forth, you know, like knockout punch after knockout punch after

knockout punch, body blow, body blow, headshot, headshot, headshot, headshot, headshot.

And yet nobody could cross or run across the plate, even though like there'd be runners on second and third with nobody out bases loaded like all this kind of stuff deep fly balls like would go it right up against the wall but not go out of the park um i didn't get to bed to about three in the morning yeah which is why for me those of you who are watching live right now uh will notice that we were doing the show an hour later than

we normally have because I needed the extra hour of sleep.

Anyway, good to have you guys here joining us today and let's not waste any time, shall we?

Now, you guys know that there is a spinoff coming of quentin tarantino's once upon time in

Hollywood it's crazy focused on the brad pitt character and it was being done by

Netflix which might be fair might be unfair the fact that it's being done by Netflix has

made me totally dismiss it in my head haven't really cared about it because it's going even though it's David Fincher and it's being done by Netflix has made me totally dismiss it in my head. Haven't really cared about it. Even though it's David Fincher and it's written by Quentin Tarantino? Even if it's David Fincher. I mean... Could be the true romance of the 2020s. Because if it's going to Netflix, it's not a real movie. Sorry, but 98 out of 100 movies Netflix does suck. They just do.

I mean, yeah, so that's just kind of my feeling of it.

Again, fair or unfair?

But Netflix may be toying with the idea of not just putting this movie out on some screens,

but giving it what's being called a robust theatrical release.
