you're out of luck because it's gone.

Kaput wiped off the face of the earth.

No longer with us.

So the parent company of MTV, which is Paramount,

they tossed out nearly 30 years of their archives online and they replaced all of that

with just the reality TV show schedule. They don't care about any of those articles, none of those

archives, stuff that actually shaped music and cultural history in this country

just gone. It is it is rather interesting and you know look mtv's obviously been on the decline for years I don't even know our music

videos even a thing anymore do artists even make music videos I don't know I I mean it but there was a time obviously where that was

central to every song's success. I mean there are songs that were hits just based on the video I mean like

Peter Gabriel sledgehammer certainly comes to mind I mean that's such a stupid

song but the video yeah was such an integral part of that.
