yourself by the way you pray and you know what one of the greatest things that we can do is know ourselves.

I do what I do because I've seen God's power transform my own life and he will do it for you.

The key to everything is found in God's word.

Joyce will be here teaching in just a few minutes, but first as we prepare for Christmas,

let's consider the gift of peace. We all want it and our world definitely needs it, especially peace with other people.

And as we continue to celebrate Advent together, we are realistic and we know that there are circumstances

that are trying to steal our peace.

It's a gift because Jesus said he came to leave his peace with us.

So we have peace, but how do we activate it in our lives? Here's what Joyce has to say.

For he is himself our peace, the bond of unity and harmony. He has made us both

Jew and Gentile, one body, and has down, destroyed and abolished the hostile dividing wall between us.

Now this was very pertinent in Paul's day because nobody hated each other any more than Jews and Gentiles.

They absolutely despised each other.

Well, has anybody noticed that there's always somewhere in the world, there's always hatred between races

and it's amazing to me that we think we have to hate people just because they're not like us

or even just because they don't think the same way that we think. You don't have to necessarily agree with somebody in order to live in harmony.
