Even though some things we think he doesn't hear our prayers or doesn't care how we are persecuted and suffer,

his eyes on the sparrow, he counts every hair in our head, and he is promised to vindicate his people who like this helpless

His prayer can be difficult for a number of reasons.

It requires us to admit our utter dependence upon God.

Otherwise, why are we praying?

Sometimes when we pray, it can seem like God may not be hearing our prayers so we get
