Podcasting played nobody. I've been walking inside of a version of our own

podcast for the last two days, Bill. It's been terrifying. It's been a little

surreal. It's maybe like the first Tron, the better, the more superior Tron or any other, maybe

war games, you remember that movie? I guess that doesn't have a surreal virtual reality

element to it, but I leave Houston, Texas, by the way, still on the road. I go home today after 15

days out. I leave Houston, Texas after big 12 media days. I go to New Orleans for the Sun Belt Media Days. You yourself, you're in Chicago

right now, is that right? That is correct. Okay, we'll get to that in a second. We can't help but talk about the group of five because I've been I've been living it

I went from here's the deal I went from the summit Houston Texas University of

Houston talking to arguably the group of five school that's best

positioned to make the jump to the big 12. As after, I witnessed in person like the Archduke being shot. Another realignment three, realignment four, Desert Storm

realignment, I don't know, happening in Dallas. Houston positioning itself and then I go to the Sunbelt Bill and it was kind of depressing.

It was a great event. I'm going to filibuster here before I bring you in because I don't want to disparage the Sunbelt and that's not what this podcast does. This podcast we celebrate and we venerate, possibly not a word all of all of our mid major brethren but the

conversation has gotten to a point where I sat with the Sunbelt

Commissioner Carl Benson for for 45 minutes bill and at the end of the

conversation we talked about television revenue and we talked about school

support and whether or not it's better to bring in schools with established fan bases and

in cultures of winning. So in other words like an Eastern Kentucky or North Dakota

State or what happened with App and Georgia Southern or do you grow one overnight like a Charlotte or a Georgia State.

But the bottom line and the reason I lead off the show, Bill, I think Carl Benson's down
