| 0:00.0 | Welcome back to Paper Route. I love what our producer said in our production meeting on this beautiful baby Friday. |
| 0:20.0 | That's a new one. I'm Friday, Jr. Friday, Jr. I love it. So we have asked Nicole Maas in studio, Korean, the cut in studio. |
| 0:32.0 | And we also have a new element to the show that we want to try. We may have some technical difficulties, but guess what Ashley? It's YouTube. Right. So you can make mistakes. |
| 0:44.0 | We're not on linear television. Right. We can try things. And there's going to be forgiveness from our audience and our fans. So we hope. So we have BC or producer. He may chime in today. So we put a little camera in there. It might be a little shaky, a little light. Right. My. |
| 1:01.0 | There's a little bit of football, but it's hard to talk football right now. People are making up stories right now with football. This is the worst time to be on television and talk about football. |
| 1:25.0 | It's also made the fourth. So made the fourth be with you and with you and all of you. Do you know what that means? Yeah, I heard it on a production car. What does it mean? It's the Star Wars. |
| 1:37.0 | Yes, it's made the fourth. As you know, made the fourth be with you. It's made the fourth. I also want to wish a very happy birthday to one of my good friends, Victorola Depot. Today's his birthday 31st. Happy birthday, Vic. |
| 1:49.0 | And manderville. Happy birthday, mandrel. It is a cool. Listen, if you're born on May the 4th, that's a pretty cool birthday. So made the fourth be with you. What what side would you be on? |
| 2:03.0 | Would you be a Jedi or would you be on the other side? I'm on the good guy. Okay. So you're a Jedi. Yeah. I haven't really watched Star Wars. |
| 2:14.0 | I haven't watched Star Wars. I used to watch it. It was at Star Wars. Like when we were kids, y'all were too young for this. But where it's like 12 at night, one in the morning, Star Wars used to come on. Is that Star Wars? |
| 2:29.0 | Star Trek. Star Trek. Star Trek. Oh, there's a huge difference between Star Trek and Star Wars. My dad's a Trekkie. I'm a Trekkie then. Oh, Trekkie. Trekkie then. Can you do it? No. Oh, this thing. |
| 2:43.0 | Yeah. Oh, he can do it. I can't do it on my mind. I can't do that. Cory, can you do it? Yeah. Look. What? I mean, only one who can't do I cannot do it. I can't do it. I can't do it. I can't do it. |
| 2:58.0 | That's interesting. That's amazing. All right. We're going to get into the show. What's up? Before you get into the show, I do want to say this. Ashley, you're a movie buff. We're learning a lot about each other. Yeah. |
| 3:10.0 | Since we've launched paper out, have you ever thought about being like a movie critic? No, but when I was a kid, I used to do like a lot of auditions and stuff and I was actually in a movie. Really? |
| 3:22.0 | Yeah, I didn't have like a speaking part because I was too. So I was in a movie with the late great Robin Williams when I was probably in middle school. |
| 3:30.0 | And I had auditioned for like an actual part, but Freddie Heimor, who's also in the movie, who if you ever saw like the remake of a Target and Chocolate Factor, he's in that movie. |
| 3:40.0 | At the time, Freddie was super short and I was really tall. So like it was too much of a height difference. But like the producers and everyone loved me so much. So I did like a background feature role. So I was on set in the Bronx for a week. I got out of school. |
| 3:56.0 | And I played like this orphaned kid that Robin Williams like took in. It was a bunch of us. He took in this in a band and warehouse and like he would give us money to go hustle and get pizza and things like that. But it was really cool. It was a really cool experience. And I remember specifically, this is how I knew I loved being in front of the camera. |
| 4:15.0 | I remember loving being on set, being out of school. And when the week was over, I got on the train with my mom, the subway heading back into the city. And I was bawling my eyes out, like crying hysterically because I was just so in love with like the process and the cameras and the takes and the craft services and just everything that was going on. |
| 4:36.0 | And I was so sad when I had to leave it. I was hysterically crying. And I was like, it won't be the last time. It's okay. |
| 4:43.0 | But yeah, it was great. Robin Williams was such a nice guy. Did you say the movie? Did you say the movie yet? It's the longest rush. It's the name of the movie. |
| 4:52.0 | So you ever saw it? Yeah. August rush. So we can tune in. If we watch it, we'll see. Yeah, it's very quick where you'll see a very young Ashley Nicole bushy hair running. |
