Good morning everybody, I'm Dodson, I'm an alcoholic, can you hear me okay in the back?

Okay, I'm just, anyway, thanks so much for being here and it's wonderful to participate

in this with my friends Marty and Danny and thanks tap for putting this together and

they assign three of us to this topic because they figure we'll have to circle it and maybe

between the three of us will be able to make some sense of it, you know emotional sobriety

when you hear that, you know what it's, this all comes from an article that Bill Wilson

wrote in the grapevine in January of 1958, emotional sobriety, the final frontier and ever

since then that we all decided that it was maybe advanced AA or well gosh, I'm sober

now I guess I should get some of that emotional sobriety and I've always thought if they just

change the word sobriety to maturity, it would suddenly make a lot more sense to all of us

and my wife sent me a text right before this started and said, well please have fun today

and I say, oh I'm looking forward to it, I'm about to do a workshop with the other speakers

on emotional sobriety so I will be lying into, you know, and I'll just give you a snapshot

of who I am, my sobriety day is September 16, 1991 that puts me at the 30 year mark, Thursday
