And it told a story of how the global financial system missed the warning signs of an impending crash that came in 2007-2008.

Well, Michael Lewis is back with his latest offering, his deep dive into how

America's health system got the COVID pandemic all wrong. So wrong, the U.S. now has some of the

world's worst mortality rates. The price is hundreds of thousands of lives. Now, I'm not claiming

that if everything had gone perfectly, that no one would have died,

but that we might have had a shot at containing it, but you would not have had this kind of like,

we're 4% of the world's population and 20% of the world's deaths. You would have had something

different. A conversation with Michael Lewis coming up here in Business Daily from the BBC.
