Hello everybody, welcome back to Bald Move Prestige, really officially unofficial podcast for all your award-winning serious adult quality dramatic entertainment and

today's movie is one that straddles the gulf between pulp and prestige like the colossus of

roads it is uh it's pan's labyrinth 2006 fantasy war movie.

It's directed by and conceived by and written by Gier Mo del Toro.

And it is a pretty awesome movie that I'd only seen once before.

And so I was kind of like reblown away by how good this movie was.

And taking it seriously, I guess, like as serious as a critics as we are,

was a really enlightening experience because it caused me to kind of go deeper and look at the metaphors and look at some interviews that he had done.

Yeah, this is a great film.

It's creeping up on its 20th anniversary.

Thank you, bald move producers, for making us, making us missed that.

You know what this is?

We'll just call it the 20th anniversary release.

November, I think.

Yeah, we're off by a couple months, but who's counting?

They're doing an actual re-release of this movie in November, I guess.

Is there really?

I might see it because I really had a good time with some of the other re-releases I've seen this year.

But, yeah, according to the unsealy calendar, this is actually, mid-February is November on that, that dating system.
