This week, Eric Deggans talks to Pam Greer, the legendary Blacksploitation movie star known for 70s films like coffee and Foxy Brown.

She now appears in Amazon's horror anthology series, Them.

And playing that role was scarier than she expected. I was thinking, I was like

trying to, oh, my God, I'm breaking out in a rash. It's like, I don't know how much I can do,

but I've got to finish it. I've committed. And if I can not have them send me to the hospital,

we're good. The pioneering female action star explains the origins of the term black exploitation,

and she shares how she accidentally left Quentin Tarantino hanging for three weeks after he sent her his script for Jackie Brown.

So, just quickly, I think most people know that Harvey Weinstein is going to get a new trial in New York.

He was wheeled into the courtroom in the past few days.

A decrepit Harvey Weinstein, according to the New York Post, looking

unwell and handcuffed to his wheelchair. Seems like the Manhattan DA, Alvin Bragg, who's got

another trial going on right now. That's quite high profile. And we'll be ready to do this as soon as

after Labor Day in September. So we'll see. Meanwhile, as you know, he still faces 16 years on a

rape charge here in California. Let me just turn to Warner's. Our friends at Comcast had a little
