Pam Bondi is out.

There's been rampant speculation for a couple days that the president was going to fire his attorney general.

And it happened supposedly right around the time he gave the big speech last night.

It was an update to the nation on Iran and where we are in terms of the non-war over there.

They had an interesting field trip yesterday to the Supreme Court, where the president

sat and listened to oral argument about birthright citizenship and Pam Bondi was there with

them, just a couple of party pals taken in SCOTUS. And, you know, it's, it's not typical for two branches of the federal

government to commingle in that way. But the president decided that it was important for him to

hear argument in person. And thus he did. And I don't know what it was about the sojourn, but he gave Pam Bondi the axe shortly after that.

You know, she was apparently, according to the Daily Mail, begging to keep her job.

And she was pleading with the president not to fire her and to give her more time.

And he did not listen to her pleas.

He considers her to be very loyal and a close friend.

And said so in a statement also said that she is transitioning to a job in the private sector.

Many within the Trump administration and even Politico's outside were very critical of the way that she handled the Epstein files with varying degrees of urgency.

Because, you know, of course, when she assumed office, she was like, I'm releasing all the files, and we're getting to the bottom of this, and here's a bunch of binders.

And then, of course, she said that the client list was on her desk

and susie wiles in that long-winded vanity fair interview said she whiffed it on the Epstein files

and she didn't go far enough and then she handed out binders to pro-Trump influencers said she had the

client list on her desk and Susie Wiles said not only did she not have the list, no list exists.

I don't know why she said that.
