| 0:05.0 | Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. |

| 0:09.0 | Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for. |
| 0:13.0 | Today, Palm Sunday is the beginning of Holy Week. |
| 0:18.0 | Usually, or I should say always, we read the story of the suffering of Jesus on Palm Sunday, |
| 0:27.7 | Passion Sunday, and then again on Good Friday, and then we hear the resurrection on Easter Sunday, |
| 0:35.2 | but we never enter into what Jesus did and taught for each day of Holy Week, |
| 0:46.4 | Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and that's what we're doing this year. We're entering into and walking |
| 0:53.7 | with Jesus through Holy Week, beginning with today. |
| 1:01.2 | Now, God wants to give us himself to flood our soul with His divine life. |

| 1:15.9 | Make your home in me as I make mine in you. |
| 1:21.4 | And to prepare the world for the gift of sharing in divine life, |
| 1:25.4 | God called the Jews, making them the chosen people, |
| 1:31.9 | the nation of Israel, giving them the promised land and the temple in which he dwelt. |
| 1:37.8 | But they became more attached to these gifts than to God himself. |
| 1:47.0 | When God came, offering his life to them in Jesus, many chose the gifts and rejected God. |
| 1:55.1 | In fact, the high priest said that it was better for Jesus to die and go away, rather than lose the nation to the Romans. |
| 1:58.1 | See, the sin of pride is to choose some gift of God over God himself. |
| 2:05.4 | And as John of the Cross wrote, we become as little as the things we love. |
