Can you tell me about the first painting that you did, that you feel really proud of?

Do you remember that?

Not really.

I don't remember the exact thing to you. I remember more periods in my development as an artist,

more periods where it was a gradual change and I can see, oh oh I started going to more detail or I started

doing a little bit more of this or that so I see more like that than an individual

painting. And I know you had a mentor that really influenced you turning to palette knife painting.

Can you talk a little bit about that?

Yes, I actually had two mentors, but one in particular that he was a palette knife painter and he is 100% the reason that I probably went to

palette knife as my tool of choice for my art and his name was Bill Freeman and he passed away about a year and a half ago and I miss him a lot and I painted with him probably for almost 25 years.
