Do you want to say where you're from and what you do and explain it in your own words for my audience?

Yeah, hi, everybody.

My name is Jesse.

I am an organizer with theater workers for ceasefire based in New York. We've been organizing

for the past couple years as a solidarity formation with the Palestinian Liberation Movement.

And yeah, we've been organizing theater workers around the support of the movement.

So was this connected to a union of any sort? How did you guys get connected to the broader

Palestinian movement? I can talk a little bit how we formed. There was an inciting action.

There was a performer who was in a production of the Chinese lady, which is a play by Lloyd-Sah.

If you don't know the Chinese lady in the last moment of the play, the character of Afang

Moy eventually is in the actors' street clothes to just sort of reflect the mirroring of history

between then and now.
